Betfred dead cert with Commercial pays out early

Leads to three-year GNFR contract win

Following a competitive tender, business transformation specialists, Commercial, have been awarded a three-year GNFR contract by one of the UK’s top 10 bookmakers, Betfred.

Supplying Betfred’s 1340 plus licenced betting offices (LBOs), HQ and in-house technology division, Sharp Gaming, the £2.2M contract is said to have saved Betfred more than £300K, with a further savings in the first two months of the partnership going live.

“The recent appointment of Commercial has already proven to be the right choice for us,” explains Corina McLeod, Head of Procurement, at Betfred. “They clearly have the experience and knowledge of our industry. To achieve such savings, so early in our partnership, has been incredibly rewarding to see and is a testament to Commercial’s commitment to delivering tangible results.”

Other aspects required from Commercial include managing mandated third-party relationships and seasonal demands to ensure LBOs do not run out of trade critical items.

“Continuity of supply and quality service are fundamental aspects of our relationship with Commercial,” continues Corina. “Commercial’s proactive approach, stock management and reporting were all key deciding factors in awarding them the contract. We are confident that this partnership will not only enhance our GNFR offerings but also contribute to our mission of delivering excellence in the gambling industry.”

Commercial will also be reporting on Betfred’s social return on investment (SROI) and quantifying ESG efforts.
