We currently have a vacancy for an IT Sales Manager within our IT Services Division. As a leading IT Solutions provider, our IT Services Division designs, implements and supports the IT infrastructures of some of the UK’s top organisations within both the public and private sector. No client has the same needs; our solutions and support packages are tailored to the specific requirements of each client.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and mentoring a team of Business Development Managers, contributing to the development and implementation of our sales strategy whilst ensuring that we are building strong and long lasting customer relationships.
The role is primarily based from our Head Office which is located in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire; however it also involves extensive travel throughout the UK. The ideal candidate therefore needs to be located within a commutable distance of Cheltenham.
The successful candidate will be a highly effective and credible individual with a successful and proven track record of selling IT solutions, developing new business and business growth, with all sales targets being met or exceeded. You will be responsible for coaching and mentoring a team of experienced sales professionals, ensuring that you meet both their individual development needs and the needs of the business. Your aim will be to enhance the daily performance of each individual; including their activity, account management, productivity, new business generated and gross profit generated. You will coach them through a personal development plan that pulls from their strengths, works on their weaknesses to create a motivated, successful and inspirational team.
You will be confident, personable and a partnership builder with an ability to engage with a variety of stakeholders including Directors and staff across the organisation.
This is an extremely exciting and rewarding opportunity for either an experienced IT Sales Manager or Business Development Manager looking to take their first steps into IT sales management.
- Contribute to formation of Sales and Marketing strategy including Cloud, Cyber and IT Managed Services
- Contribute to the gross margin of the team via your own sales
- Able to deliver and own the strategic vision for the IT Services division
- Work as part of the Management team to create and implement best practice
- Ensure dashboards/pipelines/sales processes are accurate and relevant to growth strategy
- Line management responsibility for both the Business Development Managers and the Internal Account Managers
- Conduct monthly 1-2-1’s and weekly team meetings to enhance BDM’s skills and Group growth strategy
